After having breakfast at the hotel, a private vehicle will pick you up to transfer you to the airport for your onward flight. Upon arrival, you will first drop by Heho to check out their popular local workshop where paper products are traditionally processed and produced.
You will now head on to Nyaung Shwe wherein a boat is waiting for you by the jetty. You can either choose to take a boat ride to the hotel first or carry on with the excursion in the lake. During the scenic lake excursion along the channel, you will definitely enjoy the breathtaking nature scenery. You will also get a glimpse of the popular leg-rowing fishermen and be amazed of their unique way in catching fish for a living. Another highlight during your boat ride is the colorful floating garden that you will surely come across with. After the boat ride, you will explore more of the ancient landmarks in Inle Lake – one of them being the famous and historical Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. You will also visit the ancient Nga Pe Chaung wooden monastery as well as local handicraft workshops in the area. Learn and discover the traditional wonders that go behind every local silverware, bronzeware and woven products that truly define the town’s craftsmanship excellence. In the evening, you will be sent back to your hotel to freshen up and relax.
