Day 1

Int’l Yangon arrival

Mingalarbar! Welcome to Golden Land of Myanmar.

We hope you had a smooth flight to Myanmar. On your arrival, you will be warmly welcome by one of our guide/representative with a greeting in local language. And then you will be transferred to your hotel for releasing your jet lag.

Used to be a capital of lower Myanmar and ruled by British Government nearly 100 years or so, Yangon enriched hundreds of colonial architectural trove of buildings. You will stroll in downtown and enjoy the atmosphere of British era and lively daily activities of Yangon.

No vacation is complete if you missed out Shwedagon Pagoda. You cannot help admired in its shape and glowing structure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Yangon.

Day 2

Yangon - Bagan

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.

Bagan is an ancient archeological zone and was the home of first Burmese kingdom from 9th to 13rd century. Whatever you fly over or drive through, you will be surely dazzled by the thousands of brick-colored temples over the 16 sqkm area. On your arrival to Bagan, you will be transferred to your hotel for check in and drop off your luggages.

Ananda temple is the most finest architecture in and out of the temple among others in Bagan.

Another one of the highest temple in Bagan after Thatbyinnyu temple, you will visit Htilominlo temple. Solid, gigantic and well-structured; Dhammayangyi temple, Thabyinnyu temple stands out among other wherever you have a look over the plain of Bagan.

Temples alone do not make Bagan, village and people are another way of attraction how Bagan is named. You will explore local way of living, handworks, arts and crafts, local encounter, but home-stay is not allowed.

Day 3

Bagan

Most vigorous morning activities can be seen in this market. You also mingle and follow the crowd in alley through vendor shops one after another. You will see colorful fruits & vegies grown, fishes & meats and other daily use items. Just go as the way local do and buy a local costume called Longyi for Men-wear and Hti-mi for Lady-wear and fashion you as a local.

Most venerable stupa in Bagan for its ancient dome-shaped structure. Unlike the most others pagodas in Bagan, Shwezigon is a stupa with an enshrinement in waist of the stupa with golden glittering under the sunshine. Gubyaukgyi temple and Kyansittha U-min cave are followed in your visit.

You will take a tour around the temples in Bagan on traditional horse-drawn cart.

You will be taken to the jetty where your private wooden boat awaits. Sit back, chill out under the roof or open-deck and you will be treated with a fantastic scene along the way your boat rides on Irrawaddy River. Sunset view over the river is quite spectacular and quite unlike as you can watch on the Land. Just chilled out! As the sun sets in the west, you will return to your hotel.

Day 4

Bagan - Inle Lake

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.

All the way to Inle lake, you will stop awhile at the town called Heho and you will see a local workshop where paper-related products through very traditional process.

On arrival Nyaung Shwe, you will be transferred to the jetty for your boat transfer to hotel or excursion in the lake. Enjoy the scenic boat ride along the channel into the lake and you will see the leg-rowing fishermen standing up one edge of their flat canoe holding fishing net and spear to catch the fishes. As you keep enjoying boating, you will see the floating garden fruitfully grown vegies on it. You will explore PaungdawOo pagoda, Nga-pe-chaung ancient wooden monastery, local handy business such as silverware, bronze-ware, lotus weaving factories and etc.

In the evening, you will return back to hotel and overnight.

Day 5

Inle Lake (Indein)

If Inle lake is a main dish, morning market at Inle lake is its matching side dishes. Each of the markets open on rotation of every 5 days. You will surely explore through vigorous and active morning activities of local ethnics and trading, buying selling sights, colorful vegies and fruits at the very start of a day.

As second day of your visit in Inle lake, you will start explore by visiting to one of the nearest morning market. After market, you will enjoy the scenic boat ride to the famous trove of ancient Indein Pagoda complex in the west of the Lake. On the way, you can see the lives of local Intha people how they survive on the lake and growing veggies, fruits on the water and how they build their houses on the lake. You will also rewarded with fabulous views of the placid surroundings. On your boat ride back, if time allow, you can stop at Inthar Heritage house to get more in touch with the history and culture of the indigenous people and indulge in sipping a cup of luscious coffee. After that you will transfer back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 6

Inle Lake - Mandalay

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight for next destination.
(Note : you can ask your guide or receptionist to prepare your breakfast box if you have early morning flight.)

Mandalay is the second-largest city and the last capital of Burmese Kingdom after third Anglo-Burmese war in 1885. You will be welcomed by one of our local guide/representative on your arrival and transferred to your hotel.

Mandalay is the workshop of the expert craftsmen and you will not omit a visit to some handy workshops such as gold leave making, woodcarvings, tapestries and finest silk weaving arts. Mahamyatmuni sitting Buddha, which is one of the most revered Statues and completely gold-gilded applied by the male devotees on daily basis.

Visit Kuthodaw Pagoda, frequently dubbed as “The World’s Biggest Book” for its collection of 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist teachings.

It’s off to the Shwenandaw Monastery, the Golden Monastery which is the only durable structure from the Royal Palace of the 19th century. You will not fail to appreciate the floral décor of Burmese wood carved designs.

You can walk up to Mandalay hill about 240 meter above the city. You will be amazingly rewarded by the panoramic view of Mandalay and surroundings, the foggy blue outline of Shan plateau in the east, ceaselessly flowing Ayeyarwaddy river in the west and Mandalay palace and many more. As the sun sets, you will return back to the foot of the hill. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day 7

Sagaing & Ava

Sagaing is a region where Buddhism shined as a sun. As you drive across the bridge over Irrawaddy River from Mandalay, you will see the Ivory colored pogodas are spotted over the whole hills. You will visit the sites such as Suan Oo Pon Nya Shin, Oo Min Thone Se and Shwe Taung Oo Maw pagodas. Do not pass over, but stop at Sagaing local market. Should not miss to check the pottery village, which is producing traditionally the water pots and trades around the country.

Across Myit Nge river by ferry and travel in a horse-drawn cart to Bagaya Monastery which is famous for elaborate woodcarvings, NanMyint watch tower renowned as “the Leaning tower of Ava” now not allowed to go up, Manu Oakkyaung. It is quite peaceful the way you can ride the horse-cart along the green boulevards.

Many photographers never fail to grasp as many pictures as possible here on the bridge and around. U Bein is a longest wooden bridge made of teak posts reclaimed from the Royal palace of Ava after the capital was moved. It measures 1.2 km long and take pride of being as a longest wooden bridge on the world. You will walk along the bridge mingling with locals passed by you and savour the sunset.

Day 8

Mandalay - Ngapali Beach

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight for next destination.
(Note : you can ask your guide or receptionist to prepare your breakfast box if you have early morning flight.)

On arrival to Thandwe airport, you will be welcome by one of our representative from the hotel and drive to hotel.

You will check in hotel and enjoy the rest of the day on the idyllic beach.

Day 9

Ngapali Beach

Day and Beach are yours. You can lie down and chill out on the idyllic beach or dive in the crystal water, stroll along the alleys in the villages or rent a boat to an island to enjoy snorkelling, diving trip. Overnight in the hotel at the beach.
